Currently, the Live location feature on Qontak allows you to perform attendance and location tracking separately. In this case, there are 3 uses of live location that you can configure, namely:
A. How to Set Up Live Location with the Tracking Feature
- Log in to your Qontak account, then select the “Settings” menu.
- Then click the Feature Configuration tab and select Live location.

You will then be directed to the following page. You can select the location method that suits your needs: Live attendance or Live tracking.
- When the toggle “Live tracking” is turned on, there are 3 live tracking intensities that you can select in the Tracking intensity field, namely:
a. Intensive tracking: High tracking intensity, but it will drain the battery.
b. Standard tracking: Stable tracking intensity with minimal battery consumption.
c. Battery-saver tracking: Reduces tracking intensity but saves battery power.
- When Live tracking is active, the 'Multiple live location' option will be automatically enabled but locked. This means that when you use Live tracking, you can automatically record multiple trips during both check-in and check-out. You can then enable additional options as needed to require users to enter a note and/or take a photo while performing live location activities, either when they start live location or at the end of live location. - Next, click “Save changes”.
B. How to Set Up Live Location for Multiple Live Tracking Without Enabling the Live Tracking Feature
- Log in to your Qontak account, then select the “Settings” menu.
- Then click the Feature Configuration tab and select Live location.
- Then click “Live location” and enable the toggle “Multiple live location” and disable the toggle Live tracking.
- Next, click “Save changes”.
C. How to Set Up Single Live Location Without the Tracking Feature
- Log in to your Qontak account, then select the “Settings” menu.
- Then click the Feature Configuration tab and select Live location.
- Then click “Live location” and disable the “Live tracking” toggle and “Multiple live location”.
- Next, click “Save changes”.
