How to Use the Live Location Feature on Mekari Qontak CRM Mobile

Currently, Mekari Qontak CRM has a Live Location feature that will help the role of Managers or Supervisors in periodically tracking teams that have the task of making routine visits to clients. Usually, this feature is used by clients with sales needs.

While the Sales team is visiting, the role of the Manager or Supervisor of the Sales team can track it through the Live GPS Report, as proof of the visit and reimbursement of transportation costs (if necessary). This feature can be set through the Qontak CRM Website . Next, in the steps below, you will learn how to use the Live location feature on CRM Mobile.

A. How to Enable Live Location on CRM Mobile

  1. Log in to your CRM Mobile account, then select the "More" tab.
  2. Then select the “Live location” menu as follows.

  3. Then a notification will appear as in the image below. After reading the terms, click “Ok, got it”.

    The above information states that:
    1. Your location will be tracked by our system after you click “Start live location” and location tracking will stop after you click “End live location”.
    2. This feature will continue to access your location as long as this application is still active in the background of your mobile.
    3. You can always restart Live location when you accidentally end it.

  4. Next, click “Start live location” to activate.

  5. After Live location is active, the following notification will appear. Then, click “OK”.

    The information above states:
    - Keep your location set to ‘Always’ to always enable the Live location feature.
    - Tracking will stop when you click “End live location”.
    - Make sure you have a stable internet connection.

  6. To begin tracking, click the "Start Live Location" button once more.

    Here, you can optionally add Photos and Notes while Live location is active or in check-in condition.

  7. Then you will be directed to the Live location details page. Click “See all” to see your attendance record.

  8. Next, you can see the details of your attendance record through the following Live Location log. Click this button to see the details of each location change.

    If you want to see the details of your attendance history at a certain time, click the calendar icon as shown below.

  9. Then you can track each location change through the following Location detail page.

B. How to End Live Location

Here are the steps to end Live location.

  1. On the Live location detail page, click “End live location”.
