Once you have created a chatbot conversation, you can start your chatbot start point by creating a welcome message. Here are the steps:
- On the dashboard page, click the Conversation Name that was previously created.
- Then, the display will appear as follows.
The bot response quota located at the top left of the page is the remaining quota from the total quota that has been purchased by the user.
- To fill in the Welcome message, you can click the bubble box.
Welcome message is an automatic opening message to start a conversation with a customer.
- After that, the Bot Response Settings - General will appear as follows.
Bot Response Type
You can choose one of the following Bot Response types:
For Welcome messages that are conversation-opening, the type of Bot Response commonly used is Text.

Bot Response Name
Enter the name of the Bot Response here, with the default name "Welcome message".
Bot Response Content
Enter the bot's response here, with a default greeting or greeting such as "Welcome to Qontak AI-powered chatbot".
There is no character limit on the Bot Response Content bubble.
You can attach files here. The maximum number of files you can upload is 10 files and the maximum file size that can be uploaded is 64 MB. File types that can be uploaded are Image (.jpeg, .jpg, .png, and .gif), Video (.mkv, .mov, and .mp4), and Document (.pdf, .xlsx, .docx, .pptx , .xls, .csv, .s20, and .cdr).
If the user attaches more than 5 files, only the first 5 files will be displayed. Use the X button next to the file to delete it.
