In addition to adding customer data individually, you can also import large batches of customer data at once. This process can be done if you already have a list of customer data ready to be added. To support this, we provide a special template that can be used to input the customer list directly into the available columns. For more details, see the explanation below.
Log in to your Qontak One account, then select the Customers menu.
Next, click the “Customers” tab and choose “All customers.”
Click “Add customer,” then select “Multiple customers.”
You will then be directed to the Bulk add customer page. Click “Download template” to download the customer data input template.

A Download Template panel will appear. Select the File format and Layout for downloading the customer template.
File format option → Currently available only in XLSX.
Layout option → Currently available only Default by Qontak. You will then see two categories of fields you can choose from: Default fields and Custom fields.

Below is the list of available Default Fields.

There are required fields that cannot be removed from the template file, namely: Full Name, Owner, Assignee, Username, Phone Number, and Email. Below is the list of available Custom Fields. These fields can be adjusted through the Customer Properties page. Learn more here.
Once you have selected the desired fields and file format, click “Download.” The system will then generate the file and display a download prompt with columns matching the fields you selected.
Next, fill in the contact data in the downloaded template. To avoid upload failures, follow the instructions provided in the file and the guidelines below:
Full name and channel data are mandatory.
Existing customer IDs must not be modified.
Do not edit the first row (header).
Do not change any values in columns A–D.
To prevent upload errors, make sure to also follow all instructions included inside the file.
Then click “Choose file” to upload the customer data.
Once the file has been successfully uploaded, click “Upload.”
A notification pop-up will appear as shown. Please wait while the system uploads your data. Once the process is complete, another notification will appear to inform you that your data has been successfully uploaded.
If the data upload is successful, the data will appear on the following page.
