How to Create a Template for an Email Campaign

Before you can create an Email Campaign, you need to create an email template first via the Campaign menu in the Templates section. Learn the steps below.

  1. Log in to your Omnichannel account, then select the “Campaign” menu.
  2. Click the “Templates” tab.
  3. Then click the “Email” tab.

    The ‘Email’ tab will appear if you subscribe to the latest package available on Mekari Qontak, namely Broadcast, Service Suite, Sales Suite, or Qontak 360. Click here to see the details of the package.

  4. Then select “Create template”.
  1. Fill in the Template name, then click “Continue”.
  2. Then you will be directed to the template creation page. Here is an explanation of each feature on the page.

1 Content The contents of the template to be created.
2 Component

Template component. Here, you can create a template type consisting of text, images, CTA buttons, and Dividers by moving one of the templates to the ‘Drag component here’ page.

Here are the details of the template types that you can choose:

1. Text

If you choose the type of template component as Text, then you can set the text type, add variables, body color, and spacing.

2. Image

If you choose the type of template component as Image, then you can set the image type, description, size, attachment link (optional), and image alignment (position).


3. CTA button

If you choose the type of template component as Call to Action, then you can set everything from the text on the button, link to, text color on the button, button color, border color, border radius on the button, button width, to alignment on the button.  


4. Divider

If you choose the type of template component as Divider, then you can set the thickness, width, type, and color of the line.

5 Preview Preview to see the results of creating a template.
6 Contents button Button to access the ‘Content’ settings.
7 Style button Button to access the ‘Style’ settings.
  1. Then click the “Style icon” to set the template design. Here is an explanation of each feature on the page.

  1. Next, click “Create”.
  2. The template that has been created will appear on the following page.
