How to Create a New Ticket

Through Qontak CRM, you in the customer service industry can manage tickets through several stages (stages) and you can also set the priority scale of the ticket for the urgency of certain issues. All can be done within one menu, which is Tickets. Learn more about this menu here.

To create a new ticket, make sure you follow these steps.

  1. In your Qontak CRM, go to the Tickets menu.

  2. Then, select “Create Ticket”.

  3. A pop-up Create Ticket form will appear. Next, you can fill in the empty fields.

    1 Ticket Stage The status or stage of a ticket. Select the stage where this ticket is currently at. For example, there are several statuses to choose from, such as New, Assigned, In Progress, or Done.
    2 Ticket name Enter the name of the ticket you want to track and monitor its process.
    3 Description Add a description if needed.
    4 Assignee Select the user or team you assign to resolve the issue on the ticket.

    5 Ticket Priority Choose the priority scale or urgency of the issue in this ticket, which can be low, medium, high, or critical.
    6 Source Select where the issue in this ticket originated from, such as Call, Email, Chat, Other, or Multichannel Whatsapp.
    7 Due date Specify when this ticket must be resolved.
    8 Branch You can add custom fields needed on the ticket here; to do this, go to the Properties - Tickets menu. Example: Branch.
    9 Purchase Date You can add custom fields needed on the ticket here; to do this, go to the Properties - Tickets menu. Example: Enter Purchase Date.
    10 Price You can add fields needed on the ticket here; to do this, go to the Properties - Tickets menu. Example: Price.

    13 Products  Select the product related to this Ticket.
    14 Task  Select the task related to this Ticket.
  4. If all fields on the Create ticket form are filled out correctly, click “Create”.
