Product Category is a feature that helps you manage product items. With Product Category, you can manage up to 3 (three) layers of category groups, namely Product Category, Product Sub-category, and Product. You can activate the Product Categories and Subcategory according to your needs. So, you can manage the product in more detail.

To start using Product Category, you need to activate it first, here is the guide.

A. How to Activate Product Category

1. On the menu Properties, select Product. Then, click “Edit” on Product Category.
   
   
2. Maka, pop-up Edit Product Category as follows appears.
   
   

   No.	Column/Button Names	Description
   1	Label	Product Category label description. (cannot be changed)
   2	Name	Product Category Name. (cannot be changed)
   3	Field Type	Dropdown select column type will appear in Product Category. (cannot be changed)
   4	Required	Click the checkbox to require the Product Category.
   5	Show	Click the checkbox to activate the Product Category.
   6	Show In List	Click the checkbox to display the Product Category in the List.
   7	Styling	In styling, you can choose: - Short Column - Long Column
   8	Close	Button to close the pop-up screen without saving changes.
   9	Save	Button to save changes.

B. How to Activate Product Subcategory

1. On the menu Properties, select Product. Then, click “Edit” on Product Subcategory.
   
   
2. Maka, pop-up Edit Subproduct Category as follows appears.

   1	Label	Subproduct Category label description. (cannot be changed)
   2	Name	Product Name Subcategory. (cannot be changed)
   3	Field Type	The Dropdown select column type will appear in the Product Subcategory. (cannot be changed)
   4	Required	Click the checkbox to require Product Subcategory.
   5	Show	Click the checkbox to activate the Product Subcategory.
   6	Show In List	Click the checkbox to display the Product Subcategory in the List.
   7	Styling	In styling, you can choose: - Short Column - Long Column
   8	Close	Button to close the pop-up screen without saving changes.
   9	Save	Button to save changes.
