In Qontak, you can activate WhatsApp Auto Message to receive notifications on WhatsApp. With this feature, you can send automatic messages with a trigger from Qontak, such as deal date, deal creation, deal moving, idle deal, or birthday. Here are the steps.
Important
To activate this feature, there are several things you need to pay attention to:
1. You must have a Chat Panel Account with access to broadcast messages.
2. You must have sufficient MCC balance to broadcast messages.
3. The WhatsApp sender must be approved by WhatsApp.
4. The message template must be approved by WhatsApp.
5. The destination number must begin with the country code.

A. How to Register a Chat Panel Account for WhatsApp
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Then, select the Bot & Automation submenu, and click the “WhatsApp auto-message” tab.
- Then click the “Start now” button.

You will then be directed to the following page. Enter the Omnichannel API token as shown in the following image.
Enter the Chat API Token, which you can find by clicking “See API Token” (in this case, you must log in to the chat panel). Learn how to generate an API token here.
If you have successfully logged in, you will see that your account status is Connected.
B. How to Create a WhatsApp Auto-Message
Click the “Create notification” button.
You will then be directed to the following page.
In the Feature settings section, there are several features you can choose from: Deal, Ticket, Contact, and Company.

The following display and settings will appear when you select one of the Feature Name options (Deal, Ticket, Company, or Contact).
a. Feature Name: Deal
No. Feature Name Description 1 Feature: Deal Displays the type of Feature currently selected. In the image above, the selected Feature type is Deal. 2 Pipeline Displays the available Pipeline options. Learn more here about how to create a Deals Pipeline. 3 Trigger Determines when the notification will be sent, based on specific conditions in the Feature (the example in the image is Deal).
There are two types of triggers that can be used.a. By action: notifications are sent based on a specific action or activity, such as when a new Deal is created (Deal is created) or moved to another stage. With the By action type, notifications are sent when an activity or status change occurs in the selected Feature.
Some examples of available action triggers include:- Deal is created: a notification is sent when a new Deal is created.
- Deal is on stage: a notification is sent when a Deal moves to a specific stage in the pipeline.
- Deal is inactive for: a notification is sent if the Deal has no activity for a specific period.
- If the user selects Deal is on stage in the Trigger section, an additional field named Stage will appear. This field is used to determine the specific stage in the Pipeline that will trigger the notification.
For example, if the Qualified stage is selected, the WhatsApp Auto-message will be sent every time a Deal moves to the stage “Qualified”.
- If the user selects Deal is inactive for in the Trigger section, two additional fields will appear:
- Stage: used to determine the specific stage in the Pipeline whose activity level you want to monitor.
- Inactive duration: used to determine how long the Deal must be inactive, in days, before the notification is sent.For example, if Stage: Qualified and Inactive duration: 7 days are selected, the WhatsApp Auto-message will be sent if the Deal in the Qualified stage has no activity for 7 consecutive days.
b. By date: notifications are sent based on a date associated with specific data, such as one day before the deal closing date or on the due date.

- Deal Expected Close / Order: a notification is sent on or before the estimated deal close/order date.
- Deal Expire Date: a notification is sent as the deal expiration date approaches.
- Deal Start Date: a notification is sent on the deal start date.
If the user selects By date in the Trigger section, after determining the reference date type (for example, Deal Expected Close / Order), an additional Send notification at (hours) field will appear.This field is used to determine the notification delivery time based on a specific hour on the selected date.

Ticket Due Date: This means that the system will send a WhatsApp Auto-message at the specified time (through the Send notification at (hours) field) to remind you that the ticket is about to become due or has reached its due date.
If the user selects By date in the Trigger section, after determining the reference date type (for example, Ticket Due Date), an additional Send notification at (hours) field will appear.This field is used to determine the notification delivery time based on a specific hour on the selected date.
c. Feature Name: ContactNo. Feature Name Description 1 Feature: Contact Displays the type of Feature currently selected. In the image above, the selected Feature type is Contact. 2 Trigger By date: notifications are sent based on a date associated with specific data. Some examples of available by-date triggers include:

- Contact Date Of Birth: a notification is sent based on the contact's date of birth, for example, to send birthday greetings or special promotions.
- Contact Date: a notification is sent based on another specific date stored in the “Date” field in the contact data, such as the joining date, follow-up reminder date, and so on.
If the user selects By date in the Trigger section, after determining the reference date type (for example, Contact Date Of Birth), an additional Send notification at (hours) field will appear.This field is used to determine the notification delivery time based on a specific hour on the selected date.
d. Feature Name: Company

You can customize all triggers with the Date data type or select a trigger provided by the system.

Click “Continue” to proceed.
You will then proceed to the Set up template message stage.
Select the Sender name that will be used to send the notification.

Next, select the Message template. A preview of the selected template message will be displayed in the Message content preview section.
Important
The available Message template options depend on the selected Sender. If the Sender already has a previously created template message, that template will be available for selection. If not, no template message will be available. The template above contains variables. In this case, you can determine the content of the template by selecting it in the Variable mapping section. Determine the variables in the Select mapping feature and Field sections.
Determine the recipient by selecting an option in the Recipient field.
Then determine the Related recipient field by selecting the feature and field you want in the Feature and Field sections.
Then click “Save” to save.
The trigger you created will then appear in the WhatsApp Auto-message list as follows and will be automatically activated.
The following is an example of a received WhatsApp Auto-message.
You can also delete and deactivate a trigger that has been created by clicking “Action” and then selecting Delete, or selecting Detail to view more details.
