Open API Endpoint Update on Mekari Qontak API before April 11, 2025

We would like to inform you about an update to the Mekari Qontak API endpoint to obtain API token access. This update will be made on April 11, 2025. Before the process takes place, here are some things you need to pay attention to:

  1. You need to inform your Engineering team to immediately change the endpoint in the Mekari Qontak API configuration according to the Module and Activity you are using.

  2. Endpoint change details:

  1. Before continuing this guide, make sure your account has been authorized for Mekari Developer (https://developers.mekari.com/). f you cannot access Mekari Developer, it means the account is not authorized. Please contact a specialist or support team to get access.
     

  2. To get API authentication, log in to your Mekari Developer account, then follow the guide below:
    a. Open Mekari Developer and login with your Mekari SSO account.
    b. Select Applications (documentation guide)
    c. Create a new application by filling in the application name, company name, and selecting the required scope.

  • In the ‘Authorized Scope’ section you need to check the scopes required for integration. Each scope represents a specific API endpoint. Select only the scopes that are really needed for your company’s internal applications. You can create two separate applications for Qontak Chat and Qontak CRM scopes if needed, to increase security, by generating different Client ID & Client Secret.
    d. Note down the Client ID and Client Secret.
    e. Select HMAC Validator, then fill in the Client ID, Client Secret, HTTP Method, Full API URL, and Date Header.
    f. Click "Submit", then copy the Authorization Header that appears.
