How to Create a New Deal Pipeline in Qontak

Creating a new pipeline is intended to help you categorize the list of Deals that need to be completed. Here are the steps.

  1. Log in to your Qontak account, then select the Settings menu.

  2. Then click the Customizations submenu, and select “Layouts”.

  3. Next, click the "Pipelines" tab.

  4. Then click “Create new pipeline”.

  5. Next, fill in the following fields. For more details, below is an explanation of each field found in the New Pipeline.

    Description:

    NoFeature NameExplanation
    1Pipeline NameName of the pipeline.
    2Stage NameName of the stage.
    3Deal PercentagePercentage of the deal in progress.
    4Freeze StageCheck this toggle if deals can no longer be modified once they reach or are moved to a certain stage.

    For example:
    If a deal is moved to the Done/Won stage, then that deal can no longer be edited.
    5Start to rotting in dayAfter this toggle is activated, your Pipeline will remind you about deals that have not been touched during the specified number of days.
    6Start to rotting in timeAfter this toggle is activated, your Pipeline will remind you about deals that have not been touched during the specified duration of time.
    7Add Deal StageAdd a new stage to the deal.
    8Pipeline TeamThe team members included in one pipeline.
    9Create PipelineConfirm the creation of the new pipeline.
  1. The Pipeline you created will then appear on the Deals page as shown below.
