How to Upload Articles to Knowledge Base

Knowledge Base is a platform for creating, editing, and uploading articles on the dashboard. Articles that have been created can be grouped into categories, and tags can also be added to make it easier to search for articles. Each article created will have a URL that can be opened by internal and external parties. Read more about the steps in uploading articles to the Knowledge Base.

Knowledge base
can only be accessed by Admin role. In this case, only Admin role can create and upload articles on Knowledge base page.

  1. Log in to your Qontak account.
  2. Then click the following icon and select Knowledge base.

  3. Then select the "Articles" tab.

  4. Next on the following page, click “Create article”.

  5. Then you can create a draft article on this page. Here are the details of the explanation.

    No. Feature Name  Explanation
      Undo & Redo

    Use the Undo button to return the writing to its previous state.

    Use the Redo button to change the text to a state after a change has been made.

    2 Title  Add a new title to the column.
    3 Writing format Menu bar for editing text.
    4 Enter title content Write a draft of the article in the column.
    5 Discard To cancel writing an article.
    6 Publish Button to upload articles.
    7 Status  The current status of the article. This status usually consists of Draft or Published.
    8 Author Article writer.
    9 Visibility

    In what category will the article be distributed. Based on this, there are two categories that you can choose, namely:

    1. Private (limited only to users who are in the same organization as the role that created and uploaded the article)

    2. Publish (unlimited and all visitors to the article can access the article)

    Visibility settings only apply to clients who subscribe to Enterprise and Ultimate packages. In addition, all articles in the Knowledge Base will be Public, and cannot be changed to Private. To be able to upgrade the package, please contact our Sales team by clicking "Contact sales", or you can click "See packages" to see the details of the available packages.

    11 Tags Keywords to make it easier to search for articles.
    12 Article outline Use the Title or Subtitle text style to describe the article.
  1. Next, when the article writing is complete, click "Publish" to upload it.

    - If you want to delay uploading the article, you can click the following icon then select Save as draft.

    - Then the article will be saved on the following page with Draft status.

  2. Then the article that has been created will be successfully uploaded with the Published status as follows.
