How to Add Bulk of Articles to the Knowledge Base

Now, Mekari Qontak presents a feature called Knowledge base where you can create, edit, and upload guide articles in the dashboard. In addition, in the Knowledge base, you can also add guide articles that have been created in large numbers through XLS uploads more easily, ensuring more efficient client orientation and maximizing the use of content on our platform. Here are the steps.

  1. Log in to your Qontak account.
  2. Then click the following icon and select Knowledge base.

  3. Then on the Articles menu, click “Import articles”.2.png
  4. Next, click “Download template” to download the document template.3.png
  5. The downloaded template will look like this. Below is a template that has been filled with an example article titled ‘Overview Menu Tickets’.

  6. The example article above is based on the article writing format in XLS.file which you can study below.

    In this case, Markdown is a lightweight markup language that makes it easy to format text.

    Heading


     

    You can create headings by using the # symbol. In this case, the number of # symbols indicates the heading level.

    Order List


     

    To construct an ordered list, enter numbers followed by periods.

    1. Pada Qontak CRM Anda, masuk ke menu **Tickets.**

    2. Lalu, pilih **“Create Ticket”.**

    To highlight text, you can use =x= to create a highlight.

    1. Next, if the columns in the file template have been filled in, you can upload by clicking "Choose from computer", or you can also drag the document automatically into the box as shown in the following display.

      Uploaded files must be in XLS format with a maximum file size of 5 MB.

    2. Then, click “Import”.

    3. The Import log page will then be displayed. You can also access it manually by choosing "Logs" and then selecting the "Import" tab. Articles that have been uploaded will be listed first on this page, with the Processing status.

    4. Next, the uploaded article will change its status to Imported if it matches the format.

    5. The article whose status has been changed to Imported will thereafter appear as a Draft on the Articles page.

    6. Make sure the entire article is correct. Then, click “Actions” and select Publish to upload it.

      Double check the content of the article that has been created before publishing. You can click "Preview" to review the content of the article.

    7. Then, your article will be uploaded and its status will change to Published.
