How to Integrate Webchat

Integrations are a Qontak Omnichannel feature where customers can connect various platforms with chat panels such as email or Instagram.

To integrate the chat panel with Webchat on the Web, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Open http://chat.qontak.com/ on your browser (Safari, Chrome, or Firefox) on your computer. Insert your Username and Password. Click the “Login” button to get started.


  2. Select the Integrations, then click Webchat.


  3. Click “Webchat”, then click “Add New Widget” to create a new widget.


    Each widget is only intended for one domain only.

  4. You must fill in the widget name and domain then click "Next" to go to the next process.


  5. If the data you entered is correct or appropriate, a pop-up "Widget Created" will appear as information that the data you entered has been created then click "OK" to close the pop-up.


  6. And if the data you enter is incorrect or inappropriate, an "Error" pop-up will appear according to the data discrepancy. Examples of pop-ups appear as follows.


  7. The widget that has been successfully created will appear in the Webchat list as shown below, which is equipped with a “Setting” button which is used to update the widget, and an “ON/OFF” button to choose whether or not to activate the widget.


    If “ON/OFF” is clicked, the pop-up “Successfully updated!” will appear again. as a notification that the update was successful.

  8. The Settings button is used if you want to make changes to the desired widget such as changing the name, domain, or widget status then click "Save Changes" to save the changes.


    There is a widget preview that you can see on the right side of the Settings form.
