The Channel Integration menu on Mekari Qontak Omnichannel now allows you to integrate your Qontak account with Google My Business if you have the Admin role. Learn more in the steps below to manage and integrate Qontak Omnichannel with Google Business on the Web.
A. How to Integrate Qontak with Google My Business
Important
Requirements for Integration
- Make sure you are registered on a Google Business account.
- In order to receive reviews from customers, make sure your Business location is verified. If it is not verified, review messages cannot be received by Qontak.
- Login to your Qontak Omnichannel account.
- Go to the Channel Integration menu, then select the Google My Business tab.
- Then, click “Add business”.
- Then you will be directed to the following page. Before you can proceed to the account integration stage, you need to learn the following integration requirements and steps:
- After that, “Continue”.
- Then you will be directed to the Google Business page. Then check all the permissions required so that the system on Mekari Qontak can manage your Google business profile.
To be able to access the Google Business page as shown above, you need to log in with a Google account that has been registered with Google Business first.
- Return to the Google My Business main page on Mekari Qontak to add a Business Account.
- Then click “Business Account” to select a business account.
Make sure your Google Business account has been verified.
- Once your account has been verified, the system will automatically detect Business Locations on your Business Account.
- Check several locations according to your wishes. Then click “Save”.
- Then your Google Business account has been declared successfully integrated with Mekari Qontak.
B. How to Edit Business Account After Integrating with Google My Business
- On the Google My Business homepage, select one of the listed business accounts, then click “Actions” and select “See details”.
- Then on the following page details, click “Edit” to be able to edit Business Locations.
- The, click “Add locations”.
- Add the location you want by clicking the ‘add icon’ as follows.
If you select all locations, click “Add all”.
- Then click “Save changes”.
C. How to Access Business Account on Inbox Menu
Learn the following steps to access Business Account in the Inbox menu.
- Log in to your Qontak Omnichannel account, then go to the Inbox menu.
- Click tab “Comment & Review”.
- Then select one of the chats.
- Then the following icon to access Room details.
- Next, you will see the details of the Business Locations that were previously managed on the Google My Business page.
Important
- The ‘review’ room can only reply to reviews once.
- You cannot reply to follow-ups. However, you can edit replies that you have previously sent.
- Review reply messages cannot be deleted via Qontak, but you can delete them via the Google My Business application.
- To report a review you receive, you can do so on the Google My Business application.
D. How to Disconnect, Reconnect, and Remove Mekari Qontak Integration with Google My Business
- On the Google My Business page, select one of the accounts you want to disconnect from the integration. Then click “Actions” and then select “Disconnect”.
- Then the following information will appear. Click “Disconnect” to continue.
This information states that if you disconnect the integration, you will not receive reviews and questions from the Business Locations you have selected. However, you will still be able to reconnect your account.
- Then the account that has been successfully disconnected from the integration will look like this.
- To reconnect an account, click “Actions” then select “Reconnect” on the account that has been disconnected.
- Then the account will automatically reconnect, marked by the appearance of a notification like the following.
- Additionally, if you want to permanently remove the integration, you can click “Actions” then select “Remove” on the account that has been Disconnected.
- Then the following information will appear. Click “Remove” to continue.
The following are the impacts of deleting integration:
- Integration between Mekari Qontak and Google My Business will be disconnected.
- You will no longer receive messages from that account, but the history of conversations with customers will still be saved. - Then the account will be automatically deleted, marked by the appearance of a notification as follows.
