In Qontak Omnichannel, you can integrate your Qontak account with several applications through the Channel Integration menu. One of them with Whatsapp. With this feature, you can integrate Qontak Omnichannel with Whatsapp to create a Facebook Business Messenger account.
Here are the steps:
A. Don't Have Meta Business Account & Whatsapp Business Profile
For those of you who want to integrate Whatsapp with Qontak, but don't have a Meta Business Account and Whatsapp Business Profile, follow the steps below.
- Click the Channel Integration menu.
- Select Whatsaap.
- Click “Login with Facebook”.
- Then a pop-up log in Facebook will appear. Enter your Facebook email/phone number and password, then click “Log in”.
- Then a confirmation from Facebook will appear and click “Continue as (Your account name)”.
- Click “Get Started”to start connecting Qontak with your Whatsapp so that it is upgraded to Whatsapp Business API.
- In this section, you can see a number of Permissions that your account will share with Qontak.com, click “Continue” to continue.
- If your Facebook account does not have a business account, then Facebook will automatically detect it, and you will be directed to Create Meta and Whatsapp Business Account.
- To create a Meta account and Whatsapp Business Account, complete the fields. And click “Continue”.
- Next, you will go to the steps to create a Meta Business account.
- Select a country in the Country column.
- Enter your company address details (optional) and specify the time zone. Then click “Continue”.
- If the process is successful, then you will see the following image and click “Continue to Step 2”.
- You will go to the page for creating a Whatsapp Business profile.
- Enter your company name and you can also tick My display name is different from my legal business name, if your display name is different from the company name.
- Then click “Continue”.
- Select your business category in the Category and input the description (optional). And click "Continue to step 3".
- Then select the Whatsapp number and verification method you want to use, or you can also register a new Whatsapp number. And click “Send code”.
- Or you can also choose Register a new number on Whatsapp if you don't want to use the Whatsapp number you registered earlier.
- Then enter the phone number you want to register and select a verification method. Then click “Send Code”.
- Enter the code you received via SMS/Call and click “Verify”.
- You will go to the following page and click “Ok” to complete the process.
B. Already Have Meta Business Account & Whatsapp Business Profile
- Click the Channel Integration menu.
- Select Whatsaap.
- Click “Login with Facebook”.
- Then a pop-up log in Facebook will appear. Enter your Facebook email/phone number and password, then click “Log in”.
- Then a confirmation from Facebook will appear and click “Continue as (Your account name)”.
- Click “Get Started”to start connecting Qontak with your Whatsapp so that it is upgraded to Whatsapp Business API.
- In this section, you can see a number of Permissions that your account will share with Qontak.com, click “Continue” to continue.
- If you already have a Facebook Business Manager account, then the account options will appear. And click "Continue" to continue then complete the process of selecting the account.
- Next, select your business Whatsapp account.
- Select the Whatsapp profile you want to use and click “Continue”.
- You will go to the following page and click “Ok” to complete the process.
C. Connecting Qontak to Whatsapp Business
- Click the Channel Integration menu and select Whatsapp.
- Select the WA Business Account number you want to use. Then click “Connect”.
- Then your Whatsapp is connected to Qontak.
